XStitch magazine launch

When I set out on this journey I was unfamiliar with anyone in the crafting industry. Fast forward five years and I have learned that this is an awesome, friendly and warm body of people to work with and alongside. One of the first people that I met was the intriguing and interesting Jamie Chalmers aka Mr XStitch. I have watched this passionate guy spread the word about modern needlecraft with zeal and infectious enthusiasm that those of us who work in the sector are enormously grateful for. And now Jamie has taken the leap to make yarn craft his full time pursuit.

XStitch magazine is his new baby - a magazine that supports the growing trend for embroidery that pushes the envelope. Each issue has a core theme and the first focusses on Revolution.

Bobo Stitch is proud to be featured in the magazine alongside some giants in the embroidery world including Emily Peacock, Jane Greenoff, Lord Libidan, Tapestry Girl and Kate Blanford to name but a fraction.

Our pattern is another wonderful adventure with glow in the dark thread. An image that changes from day (as you see left) to night where the words 'stay strong in the dark' are revealed.

I hope you will enjoy the magazine as much as I enjoyed working on it. You can pick up your copy here.
